Yoo Ah In’s “Burning” Set as Korea’s Foreign-Language Oscars Contender + to Screen at Busan International Film Festival

Lee Chang Dong’s mystery-thriller BURNING has been selected as South Korea’s contender in the foreign-language category of the Oscar (The 91st Academy Awards). The film had its première in competition earlier this year at the Cannes International Film Festival.

At Cannes it won the FIPRESCI Prize awarded by film critics and also the Vulcan technical prize for its art direction.
